Dr Phipps obtained his medical degree from the University of Adelaide. He trained as an eye specialist in Adelaide prior to traveling overseas to complete two fellowships. He undertook a Glaucoma fellowship in London UK at the Moorefield’s Eye Hospital followed by a fellowship in Cataract and Laser Surgery at the Gimbel Eye Centre in Calgary, Canada. In addition to consulting privately at the Goodwood Eye Centre he is currently a Visiting Specialist at the Port Pirie Regional Health Service.

His interests include holidaying and hiking with family and friends. And when time permits he is a keen swimmer and enjoys reading.
He is dedicated in supporting people in his local community and overseas. He has travelled to Laos and Cambodia with "Sight for All" to support the training of Ophthalmologist in these countries. More information about this agency’s work can be found on www.sightforall.org

Practice Manager
Michelle is our Practice Manager.
She has extensive experience within the clinic joining us in 2012 as an Ophthalmic Technician. After a few years she then became the Office Co-ordinator and has grown with her knowledge and the practice and is now Practice Manager.
She adds a valuable depth of knowledge across all areas within the practice. She thoroughly enjoys interactions with our patients and we can all rely on her warm welcome and her sense of humour.
As the mother of 2 adult children and a grandmother she thoroughly enjoys spending time with them, extended family and friends.
